When I worked as the graphic designer for the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, I was responsible for designing signage, print design, and other marketing materials. From Egypt to Pittsburgh is a series of temporary mini-exhibitions focusing on different aspects of Egyptian culture. I was responsible for the panel design and layout of this project.
This iteration of From Egypt to Pittsburgh, Sacred Scents, explores the use of incense as a bridge between ancient and contemporary Egyptian traditions. It's also the first major exhibition at CMNH to implement Arabic translation of all copy, making the visitor experience more accessible and inclusive.
